Kaily is a beautiful child with a huge engaging smile. She loves music and flashing lights and enjoys exploring the textures of the world around her.
Kaily has a half-sister who has been adopted by a relative and who lives out of state. They send cards and letters to her, and would like to maintain such a relationship with Kaily throughout her life. None of Kaily's relatives feel they are able to meet her needs and feel Kaily deserves a family who can take care of her long-term.
Kaily will need a courageous family who is experienced with changing special needs. They should be able to provide her with constant supervision and be flexible in their communication styles. They will need to be able to learn to care for her physical needs. Kaily needs to be loved and supported for who she is, and her family needs to celebrate the richness she will bring to their lives.
