What Can the Youth Expect to Get?

The youth, in foster care, that are referred to the Heart Gallery Mentor Program are referred from caseworkers. They can expect to get a mentor that matches what their needs or wants are in a mentor.

The youth can expect a mentor that will dedicate at least 10 hours a month to them. The youth can expect that the mentor will communicate with them, be a friend and have fun while working on individual goals and bonding. The mentor will be an unpaid volunteer that is there for the particular youth they are matched with!
