Connections Academy

Connections Academy is a free online schooling program for children in grades
K-12. Books, lesson plans, and computers are sent to the student at the beginning
of the school year at no cost. Students reach high potential with strong parent
involvement, flexible learning, and accountability.

Accredited schools

Connections Academy

This is a public (free) on-line school that has existed in Oregon since 2005.
It also operates in 14 other states.  Currently there are 74 Klamath Falls students
enrolled in the Academy.

Why should you care?

Perhaps you have a child, younger sibling, grandchild, niece or nephew, whose
current schooling arrangement is not working (medical reasons, behavior reasons,
doesn’t have access to advanced placement classes, lives in a very rural part of
Oregon, etc.).

The Academy supports students from grades K – 12.  Students are shipped all
of their books, materials, computer (yes, a computer!), and are provided with a
subsidized Internet connection.  All free.

Social events and regular field trips are arranged so that students can meet
their on-line classmates and teachers.

See link below for further information if interested.
