Volunteer Positions:
File Mining:
Research DHS files for information. Spend 1-3 hours at a DHS Office.
Internet Research:
Be a detective! Search for lost connections for foster children. Spend 1-6 hours a week / or per case at your own home on your own computer.
Contact / Connection Volunteer
Call identified potential family or other individuals associated with the foster child (or children) in your case at your home at your convenience.
Volunteers may do one or all of the steps of the process. Everyone who volunteers in the Family Finding program must complete an AFFEC application, a background check, and training.
