Volunteer Positions:
File Mining:
Research DHS files for information. Spend 1-3 hours at a DHS Office.
Internet Research:
Be a detective! Search for lost connections for foster children. Spend 1-6 hours a week / or
per case at your own home on your own computer.

Contact / Connection Volunteer
Call identified potential family or other individuals
associated with the foster child (or children) in
your case at your home at your convenience.
|

|
Volunteers may do one or all of the steps of the process.
Everyone who volunteers in the Family Finding program must complete an AFFEC application, a background
check, and training.
